Easy Lamb Curry with Rice Recipe

Perhaps the challenge in creating an authentic Indian dish might arise because there is a need for using different herbs and spices. Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs leg of lamb, chopped into 1” cubes
  • 6 cloves garlic, chopped and crushed
  • 2 medium white onions, chopped finely
  • 1 can tomatoes, chopped
  • 3-4 red chili peppers, chopped finely
  • 2 tablespoons tomato, puree
  • Chicken stock
  • Madras curry powder to taste

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a casserole or oven proof dish.
  2. Add enough stock that will allow the ingredients to be covered.
  3. Thoroughly stir the ingredients in order to mix them all well.
  4. Place the casserole inside an oven at 150°C for 2 hours. When required, add a little stock during the cooking process.
  5. Once ready, enjoy your Easy Lamb Curry Recipe.

Tips

Serve the dish with rice. Rice will profit from the flavor of the lamb curry and you do not have to worry about a fitting side dish. For people who do not have a lot of time this recipe is just perfect. This dish will serve 4 persons.
